Rejuvenate Yourself Today

I’m SO excited it’s the weekend! Today, I’m looking forward to spending some alone time. I’m taking my sweet time and not being pressed, stressed or rushed to do anything. I’m not doing the “should’s” or thinking about the “have to’s”. I’m officially taking a mental break today. I’m going to reflect on all the good things that have happened to me this past week. I’m not taking myself (especially others) seriously instead I’m going to laugh and be lighthearted. I refuse to let anyone rain on my parade. I’m going to relax and lounge in my PJs as long as possible. Right now, I’m eating my breakfast in front of the fireplace with a hot mug of cereal in my hands and looking off into the blue, blue sky… (sigh) That’s as far as I’ve gotten in my day. And so far, I’m very content.

I hope your day will be relaxing and refreshing too!

      1. LOL. Yes and no. THAT would just be a part of the awesomeness. Besides, for me, hunger takes over sleepiness any day – I’ve been TOO relaxed (or rather lazy) to make myself anything to eat all day. Sometimes I wander around the house and think food will magically appear in front of me. So until I satisfy my belly, I won’t be putting this head down, unless it’s from becoming so unconscious from hunger.

  1. Haha I know the feeling. What I suggest you do is check out our previous two posts: Build Yourself a Dream and Winter of Invention. Hopefully they will inspire you to invent some amazing automatic snack purchasing, snack preparing, snack serving device, then the laziness can commence.

    1. I love both your posts. But I think I’d starve before my automatic food dispenser was built. In the meantime, as in life, I just need to get off my cushion and make a sandwich. Hunger is a very good motivator for me.
